Program Overview

Project Kali is a unique initiative aimed at educating both boys and girls from underserved communities about menstrual health and hygiene in Gujarat. Through inclusive school sessions, the project addresses myths, taboos, and misconceptions, promoting informed understanding and gender sensitivity. By involving boys in these discussions, Project Kali fosters empathy and encourages open dialogue on menstruation, empowering young people to be change agents within their communities. The project not only equips students with knowledge about safe hygiene practices but also strives to reduce stigma, paving the way for a more informed, accepting, and gender-equal approach to menstrual health.
