On 5th October 2024, Pinkishe Foundation will host a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education Session at Composite School, Vaishali Sector-5, from 10 AM onwards. This impactful event will be facilitated by Khyati Gupta, who will focus on empowering young girls with essential knowledge about menstrual health and hygiene.
The session will cover important topics related to menstrual health, including understanding the menstrual cycle, maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation, and the benefits of using sanitary pads. Khyati Gupta will encourage an open dialogue, allowing the girls to clear their doubts and challenge any taboos they might encounter regarding menstruation. The goal is to foster a positive and informed approach towards menstrual health, helping participants feel confident in managing their periods.
In addition to the educational segment, a free sanitary pad distribution will follow, ensuring that the girls have access to essential menstrual hygiene products. This initiative addresses the accessibility issue many young girls face, empowering them with the resources to stay in school and maintain their daily routines during their menstrual cycle.
This session aims to not only educate but also build confidence among young girls, encouraging them to speak openly about menstruation. By breaking the stigmas and myths surrounding menstruation, the session will provide a safe space for participants to learn, share, and grow.
Pinkishe Foundation is committed to creating awareness and ensuring that girls are equipped with the right information and resources to manage their menstrual health effectively. Through such initiatives, we strive to foster a future where menstrual health is no longer a barrier to education or daily life for girls.
