On September 4, 2024, Pinkishe Foundation hosted an online Menstrual Health and Hygiene Education Training in collaboration with Woxsen University. Led by Shalini Gupta, this session aimed to empower Woxsen’s faculty and students with the knowledge and skills to advance menstrual health education and feminine hygiene awareness.

Kaagaz ke Pad, a Pinkishe Pune initiative, uses newspaper donations to fund menstrual products for low-income women, combating period poverty and promoting health and gender equality

This month, we highlight Shakuntala Devi from Mandawali, Delhi, a mother of two who has faced immense struggles. With her husband’s earnings spent on alcohol, she alone supports her children’s basic needs and education.

This was organized by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) with the support of Pinkishe Foundation at Kanhaiya Nagar Slum on 1st September, 2024. The event, which hoped to provide knowledge on menstrual health and hygiene while creating awareness and access around feminine hygiene.

On August 31, 2024, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) with support of Pinkishe Foundation, hosted a pivotal Menstrual Health and Hygiene Literacy Session and Free Pad Donation Camp at Govt. School in Ashok Vihar. Menstrual health education is crucial in breaking down cultural barriers and ensuring that all women have access to necessary resources.

On August 14, 2024, as part of the Sakhi program, a specialized Menstrual Health and Hygiene Education Training was held for three organizations: Mukt Akash Sanstha, Sahaja Trust, and Project Uplift.

On August 22, 2024, Pinkishe Foundation, under the leadership of Upasana, conducted a crucial Menstrual Health and Hygiene Literacy Session at Government Girls Inter College Khalsa in Haldwani. The event, which began at 9:30 AM, aimed to deliver essential education on menstrual hygiene and tackle the deeply ingrained stigmas surrounding menstruation. The session saw participation from 30 beneficiaries, including adolescent girls and school staff, making it a significant step forward in the fight against period poverty.

On August 31, 2024, the Pinkishe Foundation's Project Swara hosted an insightful event focused on the powerful themes of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and women's health. The event was a tribute to the renowned writer Amrita Pritam on her birthday, highlighting her story "Karmawali."

On August 21, 2024, Government Inter College Phoolvchoar in Haldwani hosted a vital event organized by Upasana, a school club dedicated to community welfare. This session was designed to educate young girls from classes 9 and 10 about menstrual health and hygiene, alongside providing essential menstrual products.

On August 28th, 2024, Pinkishe Foundation's "Pink Talk" hosted a compelling session on "The Role of Relationships," featuring Sister BK Rajni from the Brahma Kumaris, Rohini. The event, live-streamed on Facebook, provided a unique platform for exploring the complexities of relationships and their significance in our lives.

On August 24, 2024, a Menstrual Health and Hygiene Literacy Session was held at the Government Girls Inter College in Kathgodam, Haldwani, District Nainital, Uttarakhand. Organized by Upasana, the event aimed to educate young girls about the biological aspects of menstruation and provide them with essential menstrual hygiene products. A total of 27 beneficiaries, aged 12-13 years, participated in this impactful session.

On August 23, 2024, at 9:30 AM, the Government Inter College in Phoolvchoar, Haldwani, District Nainital, Uttarakhand, hosted a significant Menstrual Health and Hygiene Literacy Session, organized by Upasana. This event aimed to educate 30 young girls from age 14-15 years about effective menstrual management and address related stigmas.

On August 24, 2024, a meaningful pad donation drive took place at Asha Daan Orphanage, Karkardooma, Delhi, organized by Baijanti Sinha under the PadBank program of the Pinkishe Foundation.

On August 22, 2024, Pinkishe Foundation collaborated with Cars24 to host a pivotal event focused on menstrual health awareness at the Cars24 office in Gurugram. Scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM, the event aimed to foster a supportive and inclusive corporate environment by addressing and educating employees about menstrual health.

On August 20, 2024, at 11:45 a.m., a substantial event focused on menstrual sanitation and health was conducted at Government High School in Haldwani. Upasana's project sought to reach 30 beneficiaries by providing them with crucial knowledge and resources for better menstrual health management.

On August 18, 2024, a vital session on menstrual health and hygiene literacy was held in Village Chauna, Post Nagla Udayram, Noida. Organized by the Robin Hood Army in collaboration with the Pinkishe Foundation, the event successfully provided essential education and resources to women in the community.‍
