Menstrual Educators Training Session: Empowering Future Leaders in Menstrual Health

On 7th October 2024, Pinkishe Foundation successfully conducted an online Menstrual Educators Training session led by the experienced facilitator Shalini Gupta. This initiative aimed to equip attendees from various organizations with essential knowledge and skills in menstrual health education, fostering a network of informed educators who can spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and health.

Comprehensive Training for Educators

During the session, Shalini Gupta covered critical topics related to menstrual health, including the physiological aspects of menstruation, hygiene practices, and the importance of education in breaking taboos associated with periods. The interactive format encouraged participants to engage actively, share their experiences, and ask questions, thus creating a collaborative learning environment.

Collaboration Across Organizations

The training session attracted participants from a diverse range of organizations, all united by a common goal: to enhance menstrual health awareness within their communities. By sharing insights and strategies, the attendees learned how to effectively disseminate information about menstrual hygiene and empower individuals to embrace their menstrual health.

Commitment to Menstrual Health Advocacy

The Menstrual Educators Training is part of Pinkishe Foundation's broader mission to promote menstrual health education and advocate for women's health rights. By training new educators, the foundation aims to expand the reach of menstrual health initiatives and ensure that accurate information is available to all individuals, particularly those in underserved communities.

This event marked a significant step forward in building a network of menstrual health advocates, ultimately working towards a future where menstruation is understood and discussed openly, free from stigma and misinformation.
