Pinkishe Foundation recently collaborated with Girlup Bani to host a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive at Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Bapu dham, Chanakyapuri, New delhi. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to empowering girls and promoting menstrual health awareness.
Girlup Bani initiated a crucial conversation by educating girls aged 11 years and above about menstruation and related topics. Recognizing the importance of imparting knowledge at the right age, this initiative aimed to equip young girls with essential information about their reproductive health.
During the session, girls were provided with comprehensive insights into menstruation, hygiene practices, and how to manage their periods with confidence. The interactive nature of the session encouraged girls to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
As part of our commitment to menstrual health education, Pinkishe Foundation and Girlup Bani provided sanitary pads to all participants. This gesture not only ensured access to essential menstrual products but also underscored our collective effort to support girls' health and well-being.
